Price is less than others ($27 after tax)

Tech. support speak English natively
Not much downtime
Works with DirecTV
Call block and other nice advanced features
Cons:
Constant echo problem they cannot fix
They keep losing my router settings when making changes, as a result I have to contact them at least twice for every issue
They don't let your change router settings unless you beg (like I wanted to open my SSH port through the router)
Bad delay in start of every call (around 5 seconds on average) before it dials
Voice Mail sound quality is bad (breaks up, hard to hear)
Voice Mail menus are not the best (for example, after deleting a message, you can still send it, save it etc. It should move to the next message IMO)
Quality is bad on first setup, I had to contact customer service a few times for them to try different settings to stop getting packet loss.
Occassional sound quality issues. Some of this is wireless internet inteference with our phones, but we are pretty sure there is some problems with the voice that does not see to be our ISP's fault

I rarely write a review for services I subscribed to. This time, I feel the urge to tell others my experience with VYL. I have been searching for a good provider for long, after trying others like iTalkBB etc. In my opinion, if the voice quality is poor, it doesn't matter how many bells and whistles you get. Apparently, VYL exceeded my expectation. The voice is crystal clear, even when calling overseas. This makes one wonder, if they can do it, how come some others can only deliver poor quality?
I have been using VYL for two months now. Never had any dropped calls or poor connections. The only complaint I have is, as compared to conventional phone, the ring comes much longer after the dial. I suppose this is due to the IP nature of the dial. Other than that, the global unlimited plan is a real steal. Highly recommended!

Price seems reasonable
Online registration was fast and simple
Cons:
Cutting off an account within 24 hours without any attempt to contact the customer is just rude!
Outgoing call quality was terrible, even on a line with bags of bandwidth, no packet loss, and very low latency.
Support for most SIP devices pretty poor.
