Time Warner Review: Kevin

02/15/09

Pros:

Large provider, friendly technicians, decent internet speed

Cons:

Expensive, poor customer service policies, spotty TV service

Other Thoughts:

I have been a Time Warner customer in San Diego for over 4 years, and have decided to change cable providers due to inexcusably poor customer service. After more than 2 months of glitches or unavailable service, 2 tech visits and 5 phone calls I was credited $40 (out of $270 in charges) and denied a $70 credit which had been promised by a TW agent because it was reviewed as "excessive". If you decide to subscribe to TW, be advised that you must call tech support EVERY TIME YOU HAVE A PROBLEM; do not wait to see if a glitch will work itself out. You will not receive the benefit of the doubt, this company is dishonorable.

Time Warner Review: Gary

02/15/09

Pros:

Nothing!

Cons:

Absolutely HORRIBLE customer Service. everything about the customer service is HORRIBLE.

Other Thoughts:

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ON THE PHONE. I usually have to wait for about 20 minutes while they put me on hold. When they answer the phone none of the receptionists know what they are talking about and each one of them tell me something different about my account. They make mistakes on my bill frequently and I just hate the whole service! 2 Thumbs down.

Other Thoughts:

So far, so good. Had service approx. one month and no problem so far. voice quality is excellent.
