Truly can be considered as highway robbery. The pricing is not affordable for voip service. Might as well stick time warner.
Cons:
I can write for weeks. Support doesnt handle requests timely and the connection is not good on a softphone.

Nothing positive to say about Jive. The call quality and overall service is poor. I have had many problems with Jive Communications. When I call them to complain, they dont care and are arrogant. Calls drop regularly and my customers complain to me.
Cons:
I am porting my numbers away from Jive and this is the only site I've found that I can post about the bad service. Customer service hold times tend to get high when I call for help. Their people are nice in sales but afterwards, they suck. BAD
Other Thoughts:
Dont use Jive for VoIP. I have had far tooo many problems with the system. Do not use them unless you want to send your business communications down the drain.

Cons:
- Missing a feature or two that I wish they had (no outlook integration). Fringe stuff that doesn't get in the way, but would still be cool.
Other Thoughts:
We've used Jive for more than a year, and they've been great. My sales rep is great, and really good at getting things done for me. Their support guys (all US-based) know their stuff, and are always polite and know their stuff.

am so glad I found Jive Communications for our business VOIP. They were recommended to me by a techie whom I trust and I also found them top-rated on this website. I couldn't be any happier with their company, customer service, phone system & features, tech support and price. At every step of the way Jive has been truly awesome to work with and I couldn't ask for anything more. I wish every partner / vendor of ours was as good as Jive.Thank goodness Jive was our first choice and we didn't have to suffer with other business VOIP providers, like many others have before they found Jive. Save yourself the grief and go with Jive right away like we did. It was one of the best choices we've ever made!

Phones are easy to use. Online account manager is easy to use. Available features are just what we need. If there isn't a feature available that we were use to on our old system, Jive's customer service staff has been able to provide us with a work around most of the time. Jive's customer service staff is wonderful. Anytime I have called in they have helped me and even after having to call them maybe 3 or 4 times in a row, they are still happy to help.
Cons:
At first we experienced some line noise but that cleared up. We had to contact Jive to make sure our toll free number was terminating to our auto attendant after our toll free number was ported over to them. This resulted in our toll free number not being available to our customers, not good. Communication on the status of service changes (i.e. porting of numbers) could be better. There is a lack of user guide type documentation (i.e. online account manager, voice mail system, etc.).
Other Thoughts:
We were needing to find a VoIP phone service that could meet our specific needs and we believe we have found it. We were spending a large amount of money monthly trying to use and maintain our own Cisco phone system. Having to deal with local and long distance phone carriers is never fun. On top of that we didn't have the Cisco certified staff available that could maintain the equipment we had. Bitting the bullet and searching for a VoIP provider was initially nerve racking but it really smoothed out once we spoke with Jive. They provided us with demo equipment and reassured us the transition would be smooth. They were right. They even let us test the system extensively with a good money back guarantee, just in case we ran into issue that we didn't like. We have been using the system now for over a month. The last phase is to cut all ties to our local and long distance phone carriers and see the savings.

I am very disappointed in this service. They did a great job of getting me to sign up and register but after that it was all downhill. My phone does not work at least 6 hours out of the weak and all of those times a have been times I have needed to use my phone during regular business hours. The quality is horrible and many times I have had to find myself hanging up and having to place a call again because of a bad connection. I recommend no one in using this service.
